Orthodontics and Aesthetics:
A multidisciplinary approach<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Between September 19th and 21st, Braga hosted the XXVI SPO Congress. Orthodontics professionals from all over the country flocked to Minho to attend lectures and masterclasses that marked the three days of the event.<\/p>

Around 15 national and international speakers attended the twenty-sixth congress of the Portuguese Society of Orthodontics to discuss the present and future of a constantly evolving specialty. <\/p>

\u201cOrthodontics and Aesthetics\u201d was the central theme of the event, which once again highlighted the importance of digital technology and multidisciplinary clinical practices for the evolution and reliability of treatments applied to patients. Issues related to the use of aligners instead of braces, concerning implantology or periodontology, as well as the approach to eclectic anchorage systems, were the focus of the lectures presented on Friday and Saturday. On Thursday, the day before the pre-congress, Dr. Susana Palma Moya was responsible for the course that focused on orthodontic protocols and treatments using the Invisalign System in adults and children.<\/p>

At the end of the congress, the professionals were unanimous and emphatic in pointing to study and continuing education as indispensable guarantees of success for orthodontic practice, a discipline that, with digital technology, has expanded the potential of its treatments and whose pillars are health, function, stability, and aesthetics.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
