On April 11, 2026, the VII Symposium of the Portuguese Society of Orthodontics took place at the IUCS-CESPU facilities, under the theme “Complex Cases in Children and Adults“. The event brought together approximately 290 participants, confirming its status as a national benchmark in promoting scientific and clinical updates in Orthodontics. The opening session was led by the President of the Event, Dra. Ana Lopes Vieira, who welcomed those present and highlighted the importance of continuous training supported by the best available scientific evidence.
The scientific program included presentations of internationally recognized merit, notably from Dra. Beatriz Solano and Dr. Pedro Dominguez, who shared differentiated clinical approaches focused on resolving complex cases across different age groups. Throughout the event, participants had the opportunity to deepen their knowledge, discuss therapeutic strategies, and strengthen the link between science and clinical practice.
The Portuguese Orthodontic Society also thanks the sponsors IUCS-CESPU, Align, Ormco, Colgate, Faes Farma, Pierre Fabre and GUM for their contribution, which was crucial to the success of this edition.
